How to Add Welcome Tab on Facebook Pages With Timeline

If you own a business or website and want to promote it online then social networking can be proved very helpful. Promotion on social sites is started by creating a Fan/Brand Page. Now lets come to the Facebook. It is the largest social networking site and people use Facebook Brand Pages very frequently to promote their business, blog or website. There are various options that you can use while creating the Facebook Fan page. One of them is adding Welcome Tab to their pages.

One of the reason to add welcome tab is, when a user click Facebook page link on their website they will land on welcome tab of Facebook page. So let's start.  

How to Create a Welcome Tab in Your Facebook Page

• Log into your Facebook account and search for Static HTML: iframe tabs.

• Open it and click Add Static HTML to a Page.

• Now select the Page in which you want to add Welcome Tab and click Add Static HTML: iframe tabs. Now you can see the Welcome Tab in your page.

• You have to enter the content which your visitors will see when they come on your page. For this you can create custom page or add image through URL. To Add image upload your image to any free image hosting site such as, tinypic, photobucket, etc and copy the URL of the image. Use below format to paste in the your page

Replace the red text with your Image URL

If you are using tinypic then copy Direct Link code and paste it in both the boxes.

• Now save the changes and you have done.
